Not a huge update as I am waiting for the ending phase.
Since my color illustrations are officially complete, I’m moving on to the PDF stage. My project will be put on a digital whiteboard so it becomes assigned to one of the designers with the publishing company. Their job is to lay out the book from cover to cover.
This is where the illustrations and text are put together on the page so I can see exactly how the book will look.
Once the first layout is complete, the PDF stage will begin. I should receive this hopefully by the end of this week. I’m so excited!
Last week I took pictures for my author photo. Since my Mom’s had so much practice taking pictures of Kalista, she took them for me! This is not the one that I chose but one of my other favorites.
