I’m officially in the last stage of this process before my book heads to the printer! I received my first PDF layout, which was a work in progress.
This lays out the cover, illustrations and text so I can see what the book will look like. The things that I needed to pay attention to for edits in this round was the overall design, fonts, and anything else I’d like to change before the second version is created.
A few other details that we had discussed as well was clarifying all of the physical aspects of the book including printing details.
It looks AMAZING!! I sent in all my edits and then received the second version of the PDF. After a few rounds of edits, I was then able to finalize the PDF before it heads to the printer.
